Camden Haven Dragon Boats
This beautiful dragonboating club on the Camden Haven at Laurieton brings much happiness to its many members. I designed a logo and a promotional flyer for them. When the CanSurvive team within the club wanted to create a commemorative banner to display at regattas, they came to me with a wonderful drawing they had created, and together we developed the CanSurvive teardrop banner.
Regatta Banner
Like many dragonboat clubs, Camden Haven Dragon Boats has a number of members who are cancer survivors. They have a popular CanSurvive team who participate in special events at regattas.
This banner was made possible by a bequest from a former member, and was developed from sketches made by the CanSurvive team.
Logo
The Club had no official logo, and asked me to see if we could come up with one that the members liked. This was the design that was chosen by popular choice. You will see that this logo appears in the CanSurvive banner… but in the breast cancer pinks.
Australian Dragon Boating Federation
OK so it’s not the Camden Haven Dragonboat club, but it seems a logical place to put this illustration …
ADBF Australian Championship Mascot
The Australian Dragon Boating Federation needed a mascot for the 2015 Australian Championships in Perth. They wanted a fierce dragon.
This dragon is loosely based on the Australian Water Dragon. The ADBF called him T-Rex.
